Castle Campbell, also known as Castle Gloom or Glume, lowland seat of the Duke of Argyll, is  situated above the town of Dollar, Clackmannanshire, in central Scotland.

The tower house was built in the early 15th century and was known then as Castle Glume. The castle was originally a property of the Clan Stuart but passed by marriage to Colin Campbell, 1st Earl of Argyll and Lord Chancellor of Scotland.

Cierny Hrad Castle is a ruin located in Slovakia.
Map coordinates 48.480460, 18.286100
The was probably built mid to late 14th century on ruins of settlements dating back to the 9th century.Also called the Black Castle, it was a bulwark against Hungarian invasions.

El castillo de Zurraquín is located a little north of the village of Cabezas del Villar in Spain

The castle was built in the early fifteenth century. Belonging to the Dukes of Ahumada, it was a bulwark of the Reconquista in central Spain. The castle is in a state of ruin with little more than a rectangular tower above foundation level.

The Castle of Palenzuela is located in the town of the same name in Castile and León , Spain.

Palenzuela Castle is in progressive ruin.  It formed a triangle with towers at its corners.  Built in the eleventh century of masonry stone exterior it has not been preserved. The towers are still standing; but little else.

Trachselwald Castle is a castle in the municipality of Trachselwald, Switzerland.

The name of the rulers of the castle was first mentioned in 1131; at first it belonged to the barons of Trachselwald, then to the barons of Rüti bei Lyssach, and then those of Sumiswald.

Nidau Castle is a castle in the municipality of Nidau of the Canton of Bern in Switzerland.

The first wooden castle on the site was built in 1140, followed by a second one in 1180. The presence of the Nidau castle is first evidenced by a deed dated 30 August 1196, issued by Count Ulrich III of Neuchâtel.

The Olesko Castle is located within the borders of the present-day Busk Raion in Ukraine.

Pendennis Castle is a castle in the English county of Cornwall.

The Castle of Ishem, also known as Kalaja e Ishmit, is located at the village of Ishem in Albania.

The castle was built from 1572 to 1574 by the Ottomans, to protect trade routes from the Venetians. Today the castle is left to ruin and depredation by the locals who steal the stones.

Seddulbahir Old Castle, also known as Seddlbahir Kalesi is located on the straits of the Dardanelles in Turkey.

The remains of the present castle were built between 1656 and 1659 by architect Mustafa Aga for the Ottoman Empire. It was built on the remains of an earlier Venetian fortress. The castle was bombed several times during the Gallipoli campaign of 1915.

Castle Gösting, Anglicized to Goesting, is a ruin near Graz in Austria.

In 1042 Emperor Heinrich III granted to Gottfried aus dem Geschlecht the land and rights to the castle; which had existed prior. in 1050 the castle was ceded to Gottfried Gösting and his brother Adalbero von Wurzburg.

Prägrad Castle (German: Burgruine Prägrad) is a castle in Carinthia, Austria.

The name "Prägrad" is of Slavic origin and means "area in front of the castle" or "bailey".  The earliest record of the castle was in 1166, concerning the supremacy of the diocese of Bamberg.

Sart Eustache is a castle in Sart-Eustache, which is a section of the Belgian town of Fosses-la-Ville.

Bélmez Castle is located in the province of Cordoba, Spain.

Kasteel Tielenhof is next to Den Molenberg and is located in Provincie Antwerpen, Flanders, Belgium.
