Mid Mi Ren Fest

Has anyone gone to the mid michigan ren fest in Frankenmuth??  I am thinking about going but wanted to see what others thought of it.  I know last year was there first year.

I personally love it because it is in a forest in October and everything smells of fall (there was even a booth that sold hot cider and coffee last year).  The tickets are only $9 and the entertainment is good.  It was bigger than most first year faires last year and from what I hear they have more this year.  I say try it out and pack a cloak.

If you enjoy fall faires -- especially those that are small and intimate -- you may wish to take a peek at Grand Valley's festival also. It runs the second weekend in October and that's the only weekend that it runs. It's not very big, and it's all student managed and acted, but they do a nice job out there and the admission is free.

I talked with some friends that went and they loved it. We are adding it to our RenFest stops for this year.
