I'm back, and it FITS!!  Squee!!

And here's a shot with Milord.  We're both wearing the "Ren-friendly Rainwear" I made a couple of years ago (using waterproof microfiber raincoat material).  I think I've worn my cloak before once, but this is the first time Milord has worn his tunic and cowl.  I made these back in 2006, I think, and I can already see things I'd do differently.  Oh, well.

Ok, and that is absolutely my last corset shot in this thread, I promise.  Um... until I make the rest of the pieces that go with it, of course! LOL

Oh, that does look very fine!  And I remember you making that rainwear...  Fun project!

New faire season, new garb!  Semi-HA middle class, made of linen from fabrics-store.com.  The trim is linen as well, I made bias tape (and only burned myself with the iron a couple of times!).  This doesn't have a separate corset, I used cable ties to bone the bodice in the front and at the side lacing openings.  I used narrow grossgrain ribbon for the laces, the twine in the picture was temporary.  I plan to make sleeves to go with this, but figured the first weekend of TRF would be too hot to wear them.  I was wrong, of course!  :D

At TRF last weekend.  Thank you, DS, for the picture!
