Queen Margaret of Scotland at Scarborough. There's none better. She is regal but has no problem playing in the dirt with little kids. I've never seen another royal do that, though I'm sure there are a few.

No other queen has a loyal following like she does. No other faire has a better Scottish queen.

I'm biased; she's my queen and I march for her. I hope no one takes offense, but I love her.

Archduchess Sabine Von Wurtemburg is a lady almost without peer;
unfailingly friendly and smiling.

Oh. I guess I never thought of her as royal.

Being the good Irish Catholic boy that I am, its hard to vote for royals, much less an Engllish one, but were I to choose, Syrilla as QEI at Tenn is amazing.
"Badges? We don't need no stinkin badges!"

She is indeed one of the Royals.  Not only is she the German Ambassador...but she is also one of the Princesses of Bavaria.

I'll also throw in a vote for King Henry at the Pittsburgh Faire....cause....he's awesome too

I can't figure out how to do the code for this. Paul, you are an artist and she's a beautiful subject.

I have a few Queen Margaret of Scarbourough without a doubt then Lady Roxbourgh and VIII and Anne.  These are the Royals that stand out to me each and every week at Scarby.
There are many places where compromise is expected;
LOYALTY is not amongst them.

Lord Glycon

I have been thinking back to all the queens I've seen during my faire trips in 20+ years. I have to repost.

I have had the privilege of seeing Queen Katherine of Aragon at TRF (Rosella Gonzales), Queen Anne Boleyn and Queen Margaret of Scotland at Scarborough, Queen Margaret of Scotland at TRF (Ellen Hoor) and Lolly Foy/Queen Margaret at MRF.

These are the women I rank as top graduates of the School of Queen Baj Burinski-Shelton, THE Queen, RIP.

I've seen a lot of queens. These 5 support Baj's memory best.

GOD SAVE THE QUEENS!

Doesn't Syrilla do other Faires as well?

Yes she does the Louisiana faire, and If my memory serves me correctly she now does Arizona.

At this point I would like to throw out some names that may not be familiar to a lot of folks but I was certainly impressed by

Mike and Marilyn Marzalla when they did Sterling years ago

Mary Kababik who I think has done either Michigan or Wisconsin  not sure which

Anyone have an opinion of TRF's new King Henry and Anne Boleyn?

Trillium

The first time I saw the new queen I didn't realize she was the queen! :o  She doesn't seem to have the right presence yet...
Got faerie dust?

Lady Kett

I liked them both but sort of along Trilium's line of thought, they weren't together most of the time when we saw them so they were more Henry and Anne separately rather than King & Queen together.

If that makes sense to anyone but me...
