A live camel in a church? Seriously, who thinks up this stuff?
You have not seen some of the "Baptist Cathedrals" and "Metho- Domes" that I have.  There is a church in my home town that has 3 camels, a donkey, and sometimes real sheep.  They cover the floor in  a thick plastic. Just in case, but trust me when they do a full nativity scene.... they do a FULL nativity scene.  Anything less and they consider you a blasfemer.   ::)
It is kind of strange watching your personal history become costume.

Makes you wonder what kind of 'tourists' would be wanting a visit.  I can go online and see all I could ever want to of that area.  The sarcophagus still looks scary to me.

Bet the tours get glowing reviews. Should be a hot ticket.

I've seen pictures of people in those area, and with geiger counters.

First thing I think of is a picture of John Wayne and his son Patrick, outside Las Vegas after an A bomb test, kneeling by a geiger counter laughing.

John Wayne died of stomach cancer and his son has had cancer. Bet they aren't laughing now.

Not to mention other people involved in the filming of the Conqueror.

I can't believe they'd encourage tours.

do people sit there and think hmmm wonder what will happen if we send people to these places for fun?
i mean hello i wouldn't doubt the tour guides and 90% of the crazy people who tour that place wind up with some sort of issue

People might be doing it for money, and don't care if there is risks to others.

That dead city near Chernobyl was stripped of a lot of things that ended up in markets in Kiev and other cities. Not to mention the initial fallout and areas it effected like Belarus.

My ex was from Sumy, way east of there, and she started having tumors.

I'd prefer to be a tourist away from the whole area.

It might be a one in a million chance, but if it's you, the odds don't matter then.
