In December, we will have a special ceremony to dedicate Maid Marian's Chapel

And in the month of our Lord's birth, we will gather under the evergreen of Sherwood Forest to dedicate the completion of Maid Marian's Chapel.

It is here that Richard stopped with his men on their way to the Holy Lands and knelt to ask the Lord Jesus and Holy Father to protect them and bring them home safely.

In December, the Chapel will be roofed, the various crosses will be set, plants will surround the chapel, and seating will be completed. 

We will have a member of the Clergy lead us in a blessing and prayer for the safety of all who find refuge within the confines of Sherwood for this year and all the years to come.
