I just watched the 1992 version of "Much Ado About Nothing" with Denzel, Michael Keaton, Kenneth Branaugh & Emma Thompson.  What a great movie!  What a great story!  How many other Shakespearean movies are out there (aside from Henry V and Romeo & Juliette)?

Dozens, especially if you want to include the ones that use a play as inspiration but update it; for example, 10 Things I Hate About You from 1999 is a retelling of The Taming of the Shrew. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_William_Shakespeare_screen_adaptations#  This list from Wikipedia gives a list of over 400 adaptations.

Huzzah!  Grammercy, Refmom3.  I will be checking these out & looking for them on the different t.v. platforms we have.  Faire travels!

Personal faves are hamlet with Mel Gibson , 1968 Romeo and Juliet and Merchant of Venice with Al Pacino
